Without a gas mask, you can't survive in the poison fog zone. Protect your gas mask and go deeper into areas inaccessible to other survivors. Searching for one's own dead body will not reset the world. Rebirth somewhere else and then kill your body back. Your gear is still there-if you can get it. Search, repair and trade to collect zombie innards-the currency of the apocalyptic world, dropped by the undead. Repair damaged weapons and armor at the repair station.
