《激流快艇:叛逆者 Riptide GP:Renegade》是一款摩托艇竞速游戏，作为系列的最新作，游戏的玩法规则仍旧是传统的水上快艇竞赛，玩家可以驾驶着各种拥有强力加速器的快艇，在复杂多变的城市水道中与对手展开速度竞技。当然这款新作并非提倡玩家要遵守赛道规则，而是像副标题“叛逆者”那样，进行新的逃脱玩法。得益于赛道的宽广，玩家除了一些常规的走法之外，还能使用一些邪道方式来发掘捷径从而更轻松获取比赛第一名。然而这种做法会被视为违规，一旦被发现就会有警察来逮捕你，所以除了注重比赛之外，还得加倍努力甩掉身后难缠的警察，玩起来十分紧张刺激。
